CARRICK UNITED 5 – 1 VILLA

Our Villa Under 16 Girls team had their second outing this season against a strong Carrick United side. It was level for most of the match. We dominated the early second half and we very unlucky not to finish a number of good chances. Carrick United were fortunate to sneak a goal against run of play. The Villa under 16 girls team worked hard and pushed forward creating chance after chance against a solid Carrick defence. We got caught on the break as we pushed up in the dying minutes, which contributed to a scoreline that belied an even match and a hard fought performance by our girls. One of those days!
