Villa FC Academy for 4-9 year olds returns this Saturday August 29th. We will be hosting the Academy at Villa FC Grounds, Ozier Terrace, Poleberry for the first few weeks to allow us to comply with Government/FAI regulations around training numbers. We intend moving the Academy back to it's normal venue at Newtown School toward the end of September. The Academy will be split into 2 sessions and the following are the training times for each age group:
Boys born in 2011/2012/2013: 9.30-10.30 at Villa FC, Poleberry.
Boys born in 2014/2015/2016: 10.45-11.45 at Villa FC Poleberry.
We are also running a Girls only Academy group for Girls born 2012-2016 and they will also train from 10.45-11.45 at Villa FC Poleberry.
Given the current health situation in the country, we need to be able to keep a log of people that attend the Academy each week. We also need to move away from cash payments of subscription fees. **PLEASE NOTE THAT FEE PAYMENTS COVER ALL SATURDAY AND MIDWEEK ACADEMY (STARTS IN SEPTEMBER) TRAINING SESSIONS.
If anyone is having difficulties with the registration process, club members will be available to assist at the Academy over the next few weeks.
Some other points to note
We request that parents familiarise themselves with the Club Policies which can be viewed in the registration process, particularly the COVID specific ones.
The current environment has placed increasing pressures on the running of the Academy, so if any parent is willing to help out in an Academy administration or coaching capacity it would be greatly appreciated. You can speak to any of the coaches or Academy managers if you can assist.
