Schoolboy

Boys U11A/B/C

Games against Tramore, Seaview & Piltown for these young lads saw some fantastic football. Delighted to see young eager lads back playing some great football and scoring some great goals. Definitely a bright future for a lot of these players.

Boys 13A - Sponsored by Quartz Quality

An away trip to take on Waterford Crystal for the first game for our A Side. Conceding early was a wake up call but the second half saw a composed display. The game ended 5-2 with our goals coming from Noah, Luke, Cormac & Eoin.

Boys U13B

Fixture moved to Monday 28th @7pm vs Piltown.

Boys U13C

A fantastic start for this team as they took on Piltown. Solid at the back, creative in midfield and decisive up front saw a comfortable 7-1 victory.

U15A

A tough opening game against a drilled and talented Tramore side. Villa took the lead early through a Diego penalty after Fidel was pulled down by the Tramore keeper. From there Tramore took control and went 2-1 ahead into half time and added another in the second half to come away 3-1 winners.

U15B

A closely contested opening game of the season against Waterford Crystal. Very little between the teams but Crystal found the only goal of the game late in the second half to come away with all three points. 1-0 Crystal it finished.

U15C

After leading twice in the game our u15c team felt hard done by and disappointed to not come away with points. Tramore over came trailing twice in the game to win 3-2 and were fortunate to take all three points.

Junior Football

Premier - Sponsored by Glorious Sushi

We welcomed Carrick to Connors Park on a cold Saturday evening in what was a closely contested game. With neither keeper stretched too much, a single goal would win the tie. It was Conor Kilgannon with his third goal in two games who found himself in a position to stab home the only goal of the game. Four wins from four now the start of the season with an away trip to Ballinroad next Sunday morning.

Fourth Division

A disappointing day for the fourth division today as they took on Dungarvan. Game finished 3-1 to Dungarvan,

Youth A - Sponsored by BK Doors

Conceding within the first minute of the game and then not taking our chances cost us today. A costly slip at the back cost us a second goal while one minute later conceding again. Chasing the game in the second half we scored twice through an own goal & Butsy but getting caught while searching for the equalizer. Tramore ran out 4-2 winners while many chances and opportunities missed left us disappointed to come away with no points.

Youth B - Sponsored by BNI Greenway

After a disappointing 6-6 draw last week the lads had a point to prove this week. Defence much improved with a clean sheet today and the goals coming from Kyle, Runo, Luka, Josh, Callum, Ross and Jacob.

Youth C - Sponsored by Douglas Carroll Consulting Engineers

A great first half performance saw goals from Ryan & Kalid to bring us into half time 2-2. We started the second half strongly but finished poorly as we conceded sloppy goals. Kilmacow scoring a flurry of late goals to win 7-2.
